Sweet Treats and Soda Shop Favorites: Dining at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop

Step back in time to the days of soda shops, when you dine at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. This table service restaurant gives you chance to experience American favorites and feel like you’re in burger and ice cream heaven. Tucked away at Disney’s Beach Club, you’ll find Beaches and Cream near the Stormalong Bay Pool area at the resort. It is currently 1 table service credit on the Disney Dining Plan. Reservations are a good idea for Beaches and Cream because it’s very popular and can get a bit crowded. But, if you are planning to dine there without reservations, you can often get a walk-up seat at the soda shop counter.

Jukebox Joint: The Atmosphere at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop

Beaches and Cream really does look like a classic soda shop. Inside, the tables and booths are totally vintage. They also have a classic soda shop counter, where you can sit, enjoy a sundae or float and watch all the action. The decor is bright, filled with lots of pastel colors and ice cream themed decorations, including ice cream cone lights. And don’t miss out on the actual jukebox they have in the restaurant too.

Sundae, Sundae, Sundae!: Dessert Options at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop

If you ask me, the best part about dining at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop are the desserts. Get a classic sundae, like a Banana Split, or a decadent treat like the No Way Jose topped with peanut butter and chocolate. You can also get milkshakes and floats too.

One of the most popular dessert options is the Kitchen Sink. This showstopper sundae includes 8 scoops of ice cream topped with every topping they have at Beaches and Cream. It serves 4 and is one impressive looking sundae. Not sure you and your family can complete a Kitchen Sink challenge? Try the Mini Kitchen Sink. It’s a smaller more manageable way to enjoy the Kitchen Sink and not feel completely stuffed. If you’re craving ice cream to-go, you can also order ice cream sundaes, ice cream cones, floats, and milkshakes from the to-go counter too.

Do you have a special dietary need? You’re in luck visiting Beaches and Cream. They offer gluten free, vegan, and other special dietary needs friendly ice cream options too. Just ask a cast member when you arrive for an allergy-friendly menu and to go over options.

Sure, it’s all about dessert at Beaches and Cream. But, sometimes you need to get a meal too. Like most classic soda shops, Beaches and Cream offers burgers, fries, and hot dogs. You can also get other diner favorites like Patty Melts, Reuben Sandwiches, and Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque. Looking for something just a bit different? Of course, in my opinion, you can’t go wrong with a burger cooked on a flat-top grill right in front of you and fresh French fries or Onion Rings. Add in a cherry soda, and you’ve got one amazing classic soda shop meal.
